I am an Industrial Designer from Houston, Texas.

I have loved designing products that have been successful in the retail setting and used on a daily basis. I took the risk of choosing to leave my employment during this global pandemic to find a company where I can add value as a design team member.

I am a creative to the core. I love to learn. I love working with a team and am easy to get along with. I have loved design all my life and am particularly inspired by the natural world.  Innovation and creative problem-solving are two things I most enjoy.  I hope to use design to communicate the function of an object in the most beautiful way possible.  

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2017 - 2020 Hardgoods Technical Design Manager at Academy Sports + Outdoors

• My second position at the company, created specifically for my skillset

• Duties included 2D and 3D development for a wide variety of products, creating prototypes and mockups, and helping get ideas off the ground in whatever way I can. 

• Recognized for creating the top new private brand program launch of 2018 (Magellan Drinkware)

• Multiple original designs implemented, including a new deer feeder, a camouflage pattern, and numerous hunting, fishing and camping accessories
